A committee for the strategic planning of information management and information technology
(IT-strategy committee) was founded to support the director of the TILAK and the respective department head.

The IT-strategy committee has the following tasks:

• consulting the TILAK director with strategic questions regarding information management and information technology,
  
  
• support in the creation of long-term strategies (strategic plan) with regard to this,
  
  
• working on basic concepts regarding innovative themes in information management,
  
  
• suggestions for the yearly IT planning that evolves from this and for the definition of IT projects.
