Dieses umfasst ausgewählte Vertiefungskurse sowie das Abfassen einer Dissertationsschrift unter Anleitung von international renommierten Professorinnen und Professoren. Das Programm schließt mit der Verleihung des Titels Dr.phil. ab.

Das Doktorat ist offen für Absolventinnen und Absolventen der Medizin, der Pflegewissenschaft, der Medizinischen Informatik oder verwandter Fächer.

Her research comprises health information systems, management and evaluation of information systems, medication safety and CPOE systems, usability and human compuer interaction.

His research areas comprise eHealth and telemedicine, certification and quality of electronic health records; standards and architectures for electronic health records; patient empowerment and patient-centered information systems; mHealth.
